Presto Pesto!

Preservative-free pesto in a matter of minutes!

Absolutely loaded with taste and nutrient dense for those who care,  this recipe will knock your socks off!

I keep basil through the summer  outside in my backyard so this makes adding this to pasta, meat, fish and using as apart of an appetizer just perfect!

I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Ingredients for Pesto:

2 cups fresh basil

lemon zest from 1/2 a lemon

lemon juice from 1/2 lemon

1 medium garlic clove

1/3 cup toasted pine nuts

1/3 cup olive oil

1/3 cup parm cheese

sea salt and pepper to taste


combine all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth.
