I think olives are one of those foods that you either love or you hate, but I’m a believer that any food made the right way can make even the biggest nay sayer a believer.
Voila! Enter delicious, tangy, zesty, perfect olive tapenade!
Besides being delicious, this tapenade packs a powerful health punch! Olives are an awesome antioxidant rich food great for decreasing inflammation and supporting cardiovascular health. The garlic in this recipe gives this tapenade a little kick and is great for detoxification.

Ingredients for Olive Tapenade:
1 cup pitted olives
2 cloves garlic, peeled
Leaves from 1-2 sprigs of fresh thyme
¼ cup loosely packed cilantro
¼ cup olive oil
Add all ingredients (except olive oil) in a food processor and pulse to chop
With the food processor running, slowly add in olive oil.
Enjoy immediately or keep refrigerated for later use!
