Salmon Avocado Paleo Lettuce Wraps

Full disclosure- I ripped this Salmon Avocado Paleo wrap idea off my mom aaannndddd hopefully soon enough you will be ripping this off from me!

My mom is awesome, she cares so much about her health and wellness and as such has recently picked up kayaking. So after a lovely day out on the water, she made me this snack- which I might add, really hit the spot.

The salmon and avocado kept me feeling full and satisfied and with a lettuce wrap, this dish didn’t leave me feeling too heavy.

Gluten free, dairy free, soy free, sugar free – pretty much allergen free- this meal or snack will leave you wanting more. It may be free of lots of allergens but it is FULL of Omega 3’s , good fats and protein. Kind of like the perfect bundle of health in one meal. I think that’s a wrap!

Ingredients for Salmon/Tuna Lettuce Wrap:

1 can of wild salmon- I use this  brand or tuna

1 heaping tablespoon of hummus

1/4 of an avocado (sliced)

2 large lettuce leaves

sea salt and pepper to taste


Mix a whole can of salmon or tuna with 1-2 tbsp hummus.

Wash and dry two large lettuce leaves and top 1/2 of salmon/tuna mixture on each leaf. Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper and finally top with avocado slices.
